How do we get there?
Getting from Greenwich to Heathrow Airport – we take A4 and M4 due west to Heathrow for a 22.5-mile drive. The route, however, features multiple roadworks in Westminster and Fulham, so plan for at least a 70-minute drive through the city.
Getting from Greenwich to Gatwick Airport – it is a very smooth 44-mile ride on the London Orbital that we can easily cover in about an hour. Piece of pie!
Getting from Greenwich to Luton Airport – we take A12 and M11 through Woodford and Chigwell, then get on the London Orbital and drive all the way to St Albans; then a sharp turn northwards on M1 – overall, the route spans for 55 miles but because we use the major highways the distance can be covered in about 70 minutes.
Getting from Greenwich to Stansted Airport – a very easy drive northwards on M11; do not get too comfortable in the seat because before you know it we will have covered the 35 miles in under 50 minutes.
